Flower Of Scotland Cake Competition

Cake Competition - NOW CLOSED

The Ideal Home Show Scotland, in partnership with Royal Bank of Scotland returned! Whether you are an amateur or a professional, you could show off your baking and cake decorating skills for thousands of visitors to see.

This popular feature will return in 2023.

We’ve all spent so much time in our gardens and enjoying the outdoors over the last couple of years, it seems only right that this is the inspiration for our theme for the Ideal Home Show Cake Competition 2022.

The theme for this year's Cake Competition is 'Flower Of Scotland'

Our chosen theme linked to the national anthem of Scotland, as well as resembling the beautiful greenery and flourishing land that Scotland is famed for. Your cake creations showed us your interpretation of 'Flower Of Scotland' and what it means to you.

Whether your inspiration was the lyrics of the national anthem or looking wider to the land and gardens you see around Scotland, we saw so many cakes to celebrate the start of Summer in Scotland.

1st ~ North Uist Distillary - including a bottle of their newly launched Downpour Gin, a Gin tasting experience at their distillery as well as their gorgeous Downpour Gin tote bag.

2nd ~ Ideal Home Show Scotland goody bag worth £100

3rd ~ Ideal Home Show Scotland goody bag worth £50
