Scarlette and Stuart Douglas are the brother/sister presenting duo taking television by storm. With first-hand experience in property development, the pair are set on sharing their expertise and insight with newcomers and old hands in the housing market.  

Scarlette and Stuart made their debut as a duo when they took over presenting duties on Phil & Kirstie’s Love It or List It for Channel 4’s Black to Front Day in September 2021, the second highest viewed program of the day. 

The pair followed this up with a Channel 4 property competition series called ‘George Clarke’s Flipping Fast’, where they hosted the show alongside George. Flipping Fast followed six contestants from across the UK who thought they had the credentials to make the big time as property entrepreneurs, giving them a truly life changing chance to start their own property business. The budding developers were each given a whopping £100,000 investment to kickstart their business and competed against each other to see who made the most profit in just 12 months.  

Scarlette and Stuart’s own show, Worst House on the Street, another brand-new property format, had huge ratings on Channel 4 in August 2022. The six-part series followed the pair using their creative expertise to help families transform run-down houses into dream homes, and all without blowing the bank. With over 70% of renovations going over time and budget, Scarlette and Stuart used every trick in their book to help families make their money go further. Series 2 aired in 2024 and series 3 in 2025, all being big hits for Channel 4 with viewing figures topping the ratings.  

Not only did Scarlette and Stuart film two more series of that hit show, they also filmed a new format, ‘Can’t Sell, Must Sell’. This six-part production helps homeowners who can’t sell their homes, transform them into properties that are desirable and sellable. Can’t Sell, Must Sell aired on Channel 4 last Summer and will be filming a second series this Spring. 

2025 was a very busy year for the siblings, starting the year with Celebrity Bake Off on Channel 4 followed by appearing on the Main Stage at the Ideal Home Show. 

The pair have a podcast called Property Unlocked which can be found on all major platforms, were seen staring in a celebrity, Soccer Aid special, of The 1% Club and Deal or No Deal and took part in Celebrity Hunted which aired on Channel 4 earlier this year. 

Finally, Stuart has a new venture; ‘Keys or Coffee’ which is an interactive property prize draw where for just £3 — the price of a coffee — you can enter for a chance to win a fully renovated home, designed by the UK public via weekly Instagram polls. The votes will bring the dream home to life, and when it’s complete, one lucky winner will be selected at random and get the keys. 

Scarlette continues her ventures in the USA where she is developing new shows and working with production companies to bring ideas to life, plus in investing in Dubai which an appealing market for property enthusiasts.
