Sharon is an educator with over 25 years' experience and a lifelong passion for traditional crafts. Taught to knit at a young age, she now also enjoys crochet, macram', and a wide range of creative projects. Her teaching background spans community, college and university settings, where she is known for her inclusive, accessible approach to learning. As Chairperson of the Largs SWI committee, she helped the group grow and secured over '15,000 to support workshops and craft activities. Sharon also became an Evelyn Baxter Scholar in 2024, continuing her commitment to sharing skills and inspiring others across the SWI.
