Ken Cadman is a highly experienced Independent Equity Release Adviser, specialising in helping homeowners aged 50+ unlock the value tied up in their property. Working with The Equity Release Experts, he provides clear, tailored advice across the whole of the equity release market, ensuring clients receive solutions that are right for their individual circumstances.

With over 45 years’ experience in financial services, Ken began his career in banking, gaining extensive expertise across retail and corporate banking, including mortgages and lending. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland (MCIBS) and holds industry-recognised qualifications including CeMAP and ERMAPC. 

For more than three decades, Ken has focused on advising clients on mortgages, protection, and later-life lending, with a particular emphasis on equity release. As a whole-of-market adviser, he is able to compare plans from across a wide range of lenders, offering independent, unbiased recommendations. 

Ken is known for his consultative, client-first approach—taking time to understand each individual’s needs and long-term goals. Much of his work comes through personal referrals, reflecting the trust he builds with clients and their families. His motivation is simple: to help people who are “asset rich but cash poor” improve their quality of life in retirement by accessing the wealth in their homes responsibly.
