John Amabile

Glasgow born designer studied in his home city for a degree in Interior Design. He worked in London for 8 years as a senior designer in a commercial design company before returning to Scottish Television as Production Designer for Taggart and studio work.

This enabled the opportunity to step in front of the cameras to combine his design and communication skills working on BBC1 Change That, ITV Better Homes and ITV 1 60 Minute makeover. For the last 20 years he has also had his own Interior design Company – Creating tailor made design solutions for private and commercial clients throughout the Uk and the world. He has recently been working on his ‘Room in a box’ on line design service and a cost effective solution of ready-made home furnishings. His most recent works are the prestigious Park Quadrant Residencies in Glasgow.
