Lebanese cooking is not complicated, but it is deeply intentional. We believe in freshness, purity of ingredients, and letting the ingredients speak for themselves. Chef Jad Youssef is the chef-founder of the award-winning Lebnani in Reigate, Surrey, praised by Jay Rayner in The Observer for its “gloriously zingy Lebanese flavours.” Born in Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War, Jad learned to cook in his mother Khadija’s kitchen and his father’s pastry shop. After early work in local restaurants, Jad moved to London, where he led kitchens at many well-known restaurants. In 2020, Jad opened Lebnani, now AA-rosetted and the recipient of multiple industry awards. At the Ideal Home Show, Jad will be cooking and sharing recipes from the Lebnani Cookbook, celebrating authentic Lebanese flavours rooted in tradition, simplicity, and generosity.
