Clare Coghill
Clare Coghill is the chef and owner of Café Cùil on the Isle of Skye.
Her love for cooking began from a young age growing up in her family hotel, before winning Channel 4’s My Kitchen Rules in 2017.
Originally opening the doors of her restaurant in East London, Clare moved back to her home island of Skye in 2020 where she rediscovered her love for local produce and Hebridean ingredients, which has shaped her menus ever since. 5 years on and Clare has done pop-ups in New York City, cooking and diving for scallops on BBC, and has recently released her debut ‘Café Cùil Cookbook’.
The Café Cùil Cookbook is a collection of the very best recipes to come out of the Cùil kitchen, from Hackney to the Highlands, and is a love letter to Skye and the ingredients she uses the most.
