Doqit was born from our founder Catherine Ann Reid's first-hand struggles as a working lone parent. She faced the challenge of managing her daughter Chloe's rare genetic condition while juggling work, running the home, and navigating the complexities of day-to-day life admin.
Overwhelmed by mounds of paperwork'including insurances, warranties, hospital appointments, and tax returns'Catherine Ann found herself drowning under the weight of multiple filing systems and constant uncertainty.
After three years of submitting her tax returns late, and driven by the belief that there had to be a better way, she embarked on the journey to create Doqit: a single, simple place for people to manage and take control of their day-to-day life admin.
Her mission is to empower individuals to effortlessly manage their life admin, reduce mental load, save time, and stop unnecessary money leakage each month.
Working with a committed team of advisors and investors, Doqit Beta was launched in mid-2023, with the App Store launch at the end of 2024.
Already, Doqit is making a real difference, helping people across the UK regain control over their life admin overwhelm.
