Amber Rissmann
Amber Rissmann is a young chef who began her cooking journey at one Devonshire gardens, whilst being mentored by Chef Gary Townsend. She built strong cooking foundations and developed a real passion for food. She first stepped into competitions through springboard future chef and made it all the way to the national final, representing the central and south belt of Scotland.
Amber is currently working at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, a 2 Michelin starred restaurant located in the Gleneagles hotel. She continues to train and grow in a high level kitchen environment, whilst working alongside some of the best chefs in the country. Alongside her work she has been involved with the craft guild of chefs and was recently shortlisted for the Young chef award. Most recently Amber competed in the Young chef Young waiter and young mixologist competition and won the Scottish chef award. She will now go onto represent Scotland in the world finals
