The Home for Life, styled for House Beautiful by Pippa Jameson at last year's show, was a striking, pre-fabricated design intended to maximise views of sweeping landscape surroundings. The angular, architectural design allows maximum light in through its stunning glazed facade. Designed to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer, the house adapts to suit the changing seasons with the inclusion of the latest, most innovative insulation and contstruction materials. Two expansive roof garden areas provide a clever solution for outdoor space- especially useful in cities where land is expensive and in short supply.

The house is ultra-modular and transportable, and can be moved to a pre prepared site within 24 hours. The Home for Life, styled by House Beautiful toured the UK throughout 2015 and completely refigured and adapted to appear at The Ideal Home Show Scotland in May 2015 before being transformed into a single storey dwelling for The Ideal Home Show Manchester a month later in June 2015. The 2000 square feet design features 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms and the space is open plan throughout.
