Erskine is proud and delighted to be the Official Charity Partner of the Ideal Home Show Scotland and create the Ideal Show Garden and Plant Market for their seventh year. Over the past six years, Erskine has taken us on a journey through the lives of those who have fought and served during war and conflict for our country, from the call to war from the backyard and through the trenches to honouring the home effort in the artificial limb workshops.

This year, Erskine follows the journey of Erskine’s Reid Macewen Centre, featuring the historic Stable Building and Piggery, which have provided a tranquil environment for Veterans since 1916.

The listed building has been part of the foundation of Erskine since the very beginning, and since the doors first opened at the Reid Macewen Activity Centre on the 15th January 2018 there have been over 1,600 sessions including woodwork, art, holistic therapy, boxing, bowls, archery, IT and genealogy with over 5,000 attendances with Veterans ranging in age from 37 to 94.

The integrated Erskine plant market will return filled with a selection of plants and shrubbery with horticultural experts on hand to assist and inspire your summer garden.
