Charles Connor (85) was born in Glasgow on 20 March 1938. He served in the Army (HLI) with the rank of Private for three years. Charles and his wife Nancy (79) have made lots of friends since coming to Erskine. They love meeting with their fellow residents to enjoy coffee, cakes and chats in The Harry's café and love taking part in all the activities and the entertainment in the Bunker including quizzes and bingo. Recently Nancy joined staff and Veterans for the Kiltwalk and Anzac Day, she also loves visiting the gym and he trips out with staff and volunteers.
