New 2012 Celebrity team announced!

We are pleased to announce our new team of celebrity ambassadors for the Ideal Home Show Scotland 2012, featuring a National icon and the return of some favourites from 2011.

Joining familiar faces from the 2011 show is our new Ideal Woman ambassador and daytime TV favourite, Lorraine Kelly. Lorraine will be bringing her expertise in fashion, health & beauty to our Catwalk shows, as well as crowning our Ideal Mum of the Year for 2012.

We’ll be introducing our new Interiors ‘Glambassador’, flamboyant interiors icon, Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen. Look out for Laurence on the How To Theatre, where he’ll be showing you how to ‘glam’ up your home and will be designing a special room set for visitors to explore.

Returning from the 2011 show is TV architect and Home Improvements ambassador, George Clarke, who is also back on our screens with a new series of Restoration Man. George will be offering advice on how to make the most of your home, on the How to Theatre and introducing a new Kitchen & Bathroom Zone.

Our queen of Gadgets, Suzi Perry, is back with the Ideal Home of the Future, brought to you by Virgin Media. Suzi will be picking her top gadgets for the home and will be giving you the opportunity to test the latest home innovations.

Award-winning Gardens expert, Diarmuid Gavin, will be launching a new Young Gardener of the Year competition and giving his green-fingered tips for getting your garden ready for the Summer.

Foodie favourite, Gregg Wallace, will be bringing his exclusive show restaurant back to the SECC, using local produce to serve up some delicious British dishes. Gregg will also be hosting some top chefs on the popular Celebrity Chef Theatre.

All of our Celebrity experts will be on hand at the show offering advice for all areas of your home and we’ll be giving visitors the chance to meet their favourite personality, at our exclusive book signing sessions in the new pop-up book shop.
